A game board of 54 cards will be displayed with the backs turned to the room. The Queen of Hearts is the jackpot card. Choose a card number and write that number, your first and last name, and your phone number on your ticket - MUST BE LEGIBLE. No group tickets will be sold. Do not use abbreviations or nicknames on your ticket. Inability to read the name or contact information on ticket will make ticket ineligible to win.
When a ticket is drawn, the number written on it determines the card number to be opened. If the card drawn is the Queen of Hearts, the winner, if present, receives 80% of the jackpot with the remaining 20% going toward the next game restart pot. If not present, the winner receives 40% of the jackpot with the remaining 60% to go back into the next game's starting jackpot. If a Joker card is drawn, winner receives $100. If an ace or a face card is drawn, the winner receives $50. For cards 2 through 10, the person will receive $20 . The pot will grow each week as long as no Queen of Hearts is drawn until the jackpot reaches $50,000. Once the jackpot reaches $50,000 additional funds will roll to the next game's starting jackpot.
If you are not present and your ticket is drawn, you will be contacted within 24 hours.
After a card is selected, it is removed from play. After each week’s drawing, all tickets will be destroyed. To remain in play, you must purchase new tickets each week.
All players are responsible for taxes. Winners of prizes over $600 will receive a tax form that will need completed upon payout.
Jasper Kitchen + Bar is using manufactured Queen of Hearts prize boards, which contains the same cards as a standard 54 card deck. The prize board contains random card patterns to ensure fairness for each game.
